Tamar Marine Fishing Report - 20th January 2021 - Tamar Marine: Boating, Fishing & Marine Gear

Tamar Marine Fishing Report – 20th January 2021

BICHENO

Species:  Albacore Tuna.

The weather over the weekend left many anglers land locked, strong winds made it tough going for those who braved the seas.

The water temperature on the shelf off Bicheno has hit 20 degrees and has resulted in some thick schools of Albacore Tuna being caught.

Trolling the ever-faithful Halco Laser Pro 190 in the King Brown colour working well.

TAMAR RIVER

Species:  Australian Salmon.

Anglers trying to hide from the wind found themselves amongst some large schools of Australian Salmon in the Tamar River.

From Kelso all the way up the river to the Batman Bridge fishing well.

Silver slices and small metal lures working well.
