Tamar Marine Fishing Report - 14th October 2020 - Tamar Marine: Boating, Fishing & Marine Gear

Tamar Marine Fishing Report – 14th October 2020

TAMAR RIVER

Species: Snapper.

Its that time of the year where the elusive Snapper start appearing around the North of the state. We have had a few early reports of anglers starting to catch Snapper in the Tamar River. Fresh Bait is the key to landing one.

Last year anglers were treated to record numbers of Snapper, hopefully this year the trend continues to improve.

WOODS LAKE

Species: Brown Trout.

Located in the Central Highlands, Woods Lake offers a great alternative to Great Lake and Arthurs Lake. Woods Lake has been producing some great Brown Trout the past few weeks. Hard Bodies and Soft Plastic the go.

LAKE LEAKE

Species: Brown & Rainbow Trout.

The Lake Leake hot streak has cooled off the past few weeks, but angler are still having some success there. Trolling Cobras or Spinning with Hardbodies and Soft Plastics given the best results.
