Tamar Marine Fishing Report - 1st December 2021 - Tamar Marine: Boating, Fishing & Marine Gear

Tamar Marine Fishing Report – 1st December 2021

TAMAR HEADS

Species:  King George Whiting.

The mouth of the Tamar River was once again a hive of King George Whiting activity for another week with anglers catching their intended bags. Sandy patches and Hayabusa Whiting rigs with a added bit of Squid working a treat.

BRIDPORT

Species: Snapper.

Bridport was a popular place over the weekend and rightly so as hoards of Snapper anglers descendend on the bay. The hot spots for trying to locate a Snapper include Sisters Rock – Just out side the barway, Southern Cross Reef and further along the coast at Sandersons Rocks. Fresh bait a must and fishing the tide change will also help.

ARTHURS LAKE

Species: Brown and Rainbow Trout.

The late Spring early Summer days provide the perfect opportunity for a trip up the Highland Lakes. Arthurs Lake was the pick of the bunch this week with some great fish being caught. Atomic hard bodies were the standout lure of the week.
