Tamar Marine Fishing Report - 20th October 2021 - Tamar Marine: Boating, Fishing & Marine Gear

Tamar Marine Fishing Report – 20th October 2021

BASS STRAIGHT

Species:  Bluefin Tuna.

The Bluefin are still the talk of the week, once again being caught off the coast of Devonport. Skirted Lures are reported to be the main pick to land one.

HIGHLAND LAKES

Species:  Rainbow and Brown Trout

Woods Lake and Great Lake were fishing well over the weekend, with anglers having luck catching both Rainbow and Brown Trout. A combo of Hard Body, Soft Plastics and Tassie Devil lures all landing well.

LAKE LEAKE

Species: Rainbow and Brown Trout

Proving to become a popular stop for anglers along the East Coast, Lake Leake has been producing many and great quality catches of Rainbow and Brown Trout. Drifting Hard Body and Soft Plastics working well, as well as trolling Tassie Devil Lures.

TAMAR RIVER

Species: Cocky Salmon

The Cocky Salmon are being caught in the river between Kelso and Low Head. Casting the Halco Slice lures off the rocks or a jetty along the river or trolling over the sand flats is a great way to target them.
