Tamar Marine Fishing Report - 22nd December 2021 - Tamar Marine: Boating, Fishing & Marine Gear

Tamar Marine Fishing Report – 22nd December 2021

NORTH EAST COAST

Species:  Snapper, Gummy Shark & Flathead.

From Bridport to Waterhouse, the North East was performing well over the weekend, with a mixed bag and plenty of catches landed. The Snapper are still proving to be popular around Bridport, with fresh bait and Flasher Rigs working well. Gummy Shark and Flathead were caught all along the coast, in well numbers and size. Flasher Rigs and bait proving to also work well for both.   .

WEYMOUTH

Species: Salmon & Kingfish.

Over the past few days we have had reports of Kingfish caught off Weymouth. Kingfish often swim with schools of Salmon, giving anglers success at landing both species. Soft plastics and stick bait proving to work well for both, as well as trolling and spinning lures.

COLES BAY

Species: Crayfish & Flathead.

Plenty of Crayfish being caught and anglers also making great use of their time while waiting to pull their pots by catching a decent amount of Flathead. Jig Ems, Flasher Rigs and bait all working well.
