Tamar Marine Fishing Report – 24th June 2020

WATERHOUSE & TOMAHAWK

Species: Flathead.

The North East Coast was the place to be to land a feed of Flathead with some absolute thumpers reported around Waterhouse Island. The ever-faithful JigEm Rig the go to as always.

GEORGES BAY

Species: Garfish.

Georges Bay provided plenty of family fun over the past week with Garfish the pick of the bunch. A small stick float setup the best way to land some.

EAST COAST

Species: Bluefin and Albacore Tuna.

You will probably be sick of hearing about this but the East Coast is having a stellar run of both schoolie sized Bluefin and Albacore Tuna and jumbo sized Bluefin. Plenty of bait all up and down the coast should ensure that this remarkable run continues for a few weeks yet.

The King Brown Halco Laser Pro or the Max leading the way as the stand out must have Tuna Lure once again.
