Tamar Marine Fishing Report - 29 January 2020 - Tamar Marine: Boating, Fishing & Marine Gear

Tamar Marine Fishing Report – 29 January 2020

EAGLEHAWK NECK

Species: Tuna & Mako Shark.

Eagle Hawk Neck is the place to be with many anglers having great success this past weekend. Both Albacore and Bluefin Tuna being caught, trolling skirted and hardbody lures both working.

For those not wanting to spend the day trolling for Tuna, there were also plenty of Mako Sharks in the area.

ARTHURS LAKE / GREAT LAKE

Species: Brown Trout.

For the fresh water enthusiasts, both major lakes have been fishing well in recent weeks. With soft plastics working well, as well as Cobra lures trolled on a lead line.

EAST COAST

Species: Crayfish.

Plenty of Crayfish up and down the entire East Coast with many anglers having great success. For those who aren’t set up to catch them themselves, we highly suggest heading down to your local wharf and supporting the local Commercial Cray fisherman, who have been cleared to sell fresh Crayfish straight off the boat direct to the public in the wake of the Coronavirus situation in china.
