After months of waiting anglers are finally allowed to hit the water statewide again.

EAGLEHAWK NECK

Species: Bluefin Tuna.

Bluefin Bluefin Bluefin ! Those lucky enough to live in the Eaglehawk Neck municipality have been taking full advantage of the prolific numbers of Bluefin Tuna currently on the run off the coast. Schoolie sized Bluefin Tuna are being caught both around the Hypolites and Tasman Island.

ST HELENS

Species: Bluefin Tuna.

In a good turn of events the larger Jumbo sized Bluefin are reportedly being caught off the coast of St Helens. Eaglehawk Neck is normally the go to hot spot to land Jumbos but this season they seamed to have ventured further up the coast.

A mixture of skirted lures and hard body deep divers the best way to land one at either Eaglehawk or St Helens

Species: Flathead & Gummy Sharks.

Gummy Shark and Flathead being caught all along the North Coast with the Weymouth area in particular producing some solid catches.
