Great eating, great fun and in great numbers in the Tamar River. If you are looking for a great species to get you started in fishing, then fishing for Salmon is a great option. Casting and retrieving silver slices from a boat, bank or jetty an efficient way to land a some Salmon.
And for the King George Whiting lovers a monster 80cm fish was landed down the heads of the Tamar yesterday!

Continuing the theme from last week – Kingfish are now being caught state wide with some impressive fish measuring 1 metre plus landed. Anglers trolled small skirted Tuna lures in and around structures and had no problem landing a few.
