Tamar Marine Fishing Report - 4th November 2020 - Tamar Marine: Boating, Fishing & Marine Gear

Tamar Marine Fishing Report – 4th November 2020

BASS STRAIGHT

Species:  Mako Shark.

The long weekend came and went and many anglers took full advantage of the weather and spent the weekend out on the water.

If you’re up for a adrenaline rush then Mako Sharks have started to show up along the coast. A large fresh bait drifting in a burley trail behind your boat the best way to target them. Make sure your gear is in tip top shape because you’re in for a ride.

BASS STRAIGHT PART 2

Species: Squid.

The Squid season reopened again on Sunday across the North Coast, with anglers having a field day Sunday morning. With plenty of good catches reported. Red and White squid jigs doing the majority of the damage.

WATERHOUSE ISLAND

Species: King George Whiting.

It’s normally the Tamar River that’s the go to place for Whiting but this week it seems like Waterhouse Island was the place to be with some absolute thumpers being caught, all over 55cm. Hayabusa whiting rigs once again leathal.
