Tamar Marine Fishing Report – 7th October 2020

BRIDPORT

Species: Flathead & Gummy Shark.

If you are after a great feed of fish then Bridport is the place to be this week with anglers catching plenty of Flathead and Gummy Sharks. Anglers rig of choice – the ever faithful Jig Em rig.

TOOMS LAKE

Species: Brown Trout.

Located towards the East coast of Tasmania, Tooms Lake is popular with many angling clubs. Fishing well recently for Brown Trout with anglers having the most success on Hardbody lures or using bait.

KELSO

Species: King George Whiting.

King George Whiting still being caught down over the Kelso flats on the edge of the Tamar River. How ever the recent downpour of rain over the past few days may slow them down a bit. Hayabusa whiting rigs a effective and efficient way to land a great feed.
